Alen is a contract administrator in our Calgary studio. Beginning his career in construction as a carpenter, he moved his way quickly through the foreman ranks to superintendent up to estimator, and finally project manager. After nearly 20 years of working for general contractors on a wide variety of projects, Alen entered property management. There he developed skills in project needs assessment, charter development, budget development, and funding approvals. His expertise includes design team procurement, contractor selection, contract award and administration, and completion documentation, as well as a knack for ensuring that projects meet each property’s strict design criteria manuals and reporting back to ownership.
