This September DIALOG officially joined a growing global community of like-minded firms who are taking action against climate change by signing on to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2030 Commitment. This commitment is an important milestone for our industry; as design experts are taking on more responsibility and leadership in offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions caused by the buildings we create.

The AIA 2030 Commitment is a framework that provides signatory firms with the resources and tools they need to help measure and report on their progress towards answering the 2030 Challenge–a visionary initiative with the aim of offsetting some of the effects of climate change by achieving carbon neutrality in the built environment by the year 2030.

By signing this commitment, DIALOG will gain access to invaluable resources such as global comparison data from all signatory firms, standardized metrics, and proprietary and collaborative reporting tools. More importantly, we will continue to evolve our expertise in energy modeling and sustainable design so that we can deliver lasting value to our clients, and further our pledge to meaningfully improve the wellbeing of our communities and the environment we all share.
