Wellbeing by Design: A purpose-driven design practice

As a society, we face seemingly unsurmountable challenges: climate change, social equity, affordability, and local economic development. How we build our homes, our neighbourhoods, and our cities serves to either compound the problem or venture a solution. As design professionals, it is through our work that we make a difference – to meaningfully improve the wellbeing of communities. Through this presentation, we will seek to empower businesses and practitioners of the built environment to embrace their sense of purpose and to understand that design can have a lasting, positive impact.
