Wellbeing by Design: A purpose-driven design practice
As a society, we face seemingly unsurmountable challenges: climate change, social equity, affordability, and local economic development. How we build our homes, our neighbourhoods, and our cities serves to either compound the problem or venture a solution. As design professionals, it is through our work that we make a difference – to meaningfully improve the wellbeing of communities. Through this presentation, we will seek to empower businesses and practitioners of the built environment to embrace their sense of purpose and to understand that design can have a lasting, positive impact.
About The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Arizona State Conference
With a theme of “Community,” this year’s conference will feature a significant lineup of thought leaders, highlighting outstanding projects and experts in the local profession and starting provocative conversations about the future of the built environment and communities. Conference attendees will experience the Arizona debut of the “Say it Loud!” exhibition and will have the opportunity to connect and interact with fellow industry peers.
