We’re delighted to share that the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre’s Asset Information Management and BIM received the Project Delivery, Asset Management & Lifecycle award at Building Transformations 2022 Innovation Spotlight Awards.
Presented at the Innovation Spotlight Awards on December 13, the Project Delivery, Asset Management & Lifecycle award recognizes projects, buildings, and technologies that demonstrate leadership and innovation through utilizing digital technology and processes to improve project delivery and asset management.
The team at PCL Construction and DIALOG created an as-built Building Information Modeling (BIM) complete with Asset Information Management (AIM) as a resource to support post-construction facility management workflows, becoming one of the first, largest, and most complex solutions in Canada. The ultimate goal was to provide a fully integrated, coordinated, and site verified as-built model complete with facility management information of all building elements in a way the province’s end users can use throughout the life of the facility.
Congratulations to the entire project team involved in this amazing achievement!
