Celebrating Pride at DIALOG 2024

June 10, 2024

June is Pride Month.

This Pride Month, we celebrate our LGBTQIA2+ community and recognize our collective effort toward fostering an open, inclusive, and equitable future. At DIALOG, we celebrate the unique voices, perspectives, and backgrounds, believing they are essential to our Practice. Across our studios, we’re excited to engage in events and resources to support and embrace inclusivity and diversity.

This month, a Practice-wide event that we’re proud to host is a Framework Leadership Pride Talks presentation by architect and activist Nyasha Harper-Michon (she/her). Nyasha will deliver a presentation on challenging the ‘Reference Man,’ a biased archetype and ‘neutral’ design standard, and will delve into the realm of architectural activism, challenging conventional design and industry norms to advocate for queer-inclusive and sustainable cities. Together, we will explore how to navigate the complexities of societal biases, foster empathy-driven design processes, and pave the way for resilient and inclusive cities where everyone can thrive.

In celebration of Pride Month, we invite you to show your support by engaging in various activities, resources, events, forums, and learning opportunities in your city.

If you are from our studio city locations, check out the fun and exciting Pride events happening:
