Climate Imperative Series: Energy Transition Strategies for Cities

The City of Calgary has declared a state of climate emergency. The Climate Imperative is a DIALOG initiative bringing design and city building professionals together to seek collaborative action. The public conversation series is part of this initiative. Discussions will take place in Calgary with a variety of climate topics affecting the building industry: Net-Zero Buildings, Energy Transition Strategies for Cities, and Energy Futures. 

Join us on March 28, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. MST for “Climate Imperative Part 2: Energy Transition Strategies for Cities,” the second discussion of a panel series hosted by DIALOG.

Climate Imperative Part 2: Energy Transition Strategies for Cities 

What shape might responsible cities take in the future when facing a climate crisis?

The panel brings together three thought leaders in the building industry who are seeking to create places that are future-proof and made for people:

  • Sonja Wilson, Principal, ReShape Infrastructure Strategies
  • Jason Grabinsky, Director of Development and Innovation, Atlantica
  • Charles Marshall, Partner and engineer, DIALOG

Moderated by David Gray, former host of CBC’s Eyeopener, the second conversation in DIALOG’s Climate Imperative Series will highlight strategies that are working now, and invite consideration of a climate conscious path forward.
