ASHE/ASHRAE Decarbonization Design Guide
The new imperative for all healthcare facilities is decarbonization.
Every major medical organization in the country, and in the world, including the American Hospital Association and the American Society for Health Care Engineering, are supporting the healthcare decarbonization imperative. The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) has partnered with the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) to decarbonize healthcare facilities.
In the session, leaders managing the project committee for the effort, as well as subject matter experts who have contributed to the guide will present the work, including its most difficult elements – heat, steam, and emergency power.
The guidebook is expected to be released in April 2024.
