The annual Architecture MasterPrize is an international architecture award recognizing design excellence. The award was created to generate exposure of quality architectural design worldwide. The prize celebrates creativity and innovation in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, architectural product design and architectural photography, with submissions from all around the world.
UHN Toronto Western Hospital New Surgical and Patient Tower received an Honourable Mention in the category of Interior Design: Conceptual Interior, while Centennial College A-Building Expansion received an Honourable Mention in the category of Architectural Design: Educational Buildings, and a win in Interior Design: Other Interior Design.

UHN Toronto Western Hospital New Surgical and Patient Tower
Currently in construction, the University Health Network (UHN) Toronto Western Hospital (TWH) New Surgical and Patient Tower is a landmark 15-storey, 380,000-square-foot project, enhancing TWH’s status as Ontario’s top Neurosciences Centre and leader in performing complex surgeries. It features 82 single patient rooms, 20 leading edge operating rooms, and progressive facilities to foster positive experiences for patients, visitors, and staff. The design provides calming, biophilic interiors, natural light, outdoor spaces, and inclusive healing environments, reflecting UHN’s commitment to comprehensive care and wellbeing.
DIALOG was responsible for the architecture, electrical, mechanical and structural engineering, interior design, planning & urban design, and landscape architecture.

Centennial College A-Building Expansion
Completed in 2023, the Centennial College A-Building Expansion, in collaboration with Smoke Architecture, is a celebration of the Mi’kmaq concept of “Two-Eyed Seeing” which harmonizes Indigenous wisdom and Western perspectives. The design of the centers on inspiring innovative thinking while allowing the building to be the primary storyteller. As Canada’s first LEED Gold, net-zero carbon, WELL certified, mass timber, higher-education facility it exemplifies an unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
