In an effort to continue to support those who identify as female in the design industry, working with BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology), DIALOG has created an annual scholarship of $5,000 called the DIALOG Women In Architectural & Building Technology Achievement Award. This scholarship is to be granted to a BCIT student entering the second year of the Architectural and Building Technology Diploma program, providing them with the motivation to keep pursuing their educational journey.

The recipient of this year’s inaugural award is student Alejandra Loaiza Granda, who was celebrated at the awards ceremony on Thursday, November 16, hosted at BCIT. Achievement awards are selected based on academic standing, participation within the program and institute, and leadership skills.
