Wellbeing by Design: A purpose-driven built environment

As a society, today, we face seemingly unsurmountable challenges: climate change, social equity, stained economics. How we build our homes, our neighbourhoods, our cities, serves to either compound the problem or find a solution. It is up to us to decide – with every brick we lay down, every tree we plant, every window we install. This talk has a simple premise – that the design of our built environment can, and should, serve to meaningfully improve the wellbeing of communities. Cities can, and should, be part of the solution. Having a purpose has an impact.
