Presentation | A Deep Dive into a Recent Deep Energy Retrofit
Date: Wednesday, May 22, 2024
Time: 4:15 p.m. – 4:35 p.m. ET
In this session, Charles Marshall and Amy Montgomery, Associate and Building Science Engineer, RDH, will highlight a case study building, the 25 St. Clair East Rehabilitation project, which was recently completed to be a high-performance low-carbon building retrofit in downtown Toronto.
The presentation will provide insight into the technical challenges associated with thermal-bridge-free detailing of a high-performance exterior insulated wall. The presenters will also dig into the “boots on the ground” execution of the guarded and whole building air tightness testing performed as part of the enclosure commissioning program.
