DIALOG’s Edmonton studio is pleased to extend an invitation to a collaborative and open discussion about the Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI) on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Hosted by DIALOG’s Tai Ziola, Partner and architect, this ongoing conversation will focus on past successes, lessons learned, and the future of the RHI in Edmonton. This event aims to engage stakeholders from the City of Edmonton, the architecture and planning community, builders, and non-profit operators in a dialogue on improving the delivery of affordable and supportive housing, by sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and collaboratively working together.

Founded in 2020, the Rapid Housing Initiative is a federal program that is part of the Government of Canada’s National Housing Strategy that takes a human rights-based approach and aims to address homelessness and support vulnerable populations by building much-needed equitable, rapid, and affordable housing options.
