We’re proud to congratulate Michael Mousa, DIALOG sustainability consultant, on being named this year’s recipient of the 2022 Canada Green Building Council (CGBC) Emerging Green Leader Award. This award is presented to students or young professionals recognized as a leader among their peers with a strong commitment to green building, the environment, and making positive change.
Evaluations considered demonstrated peer leadership; potential for leadership; and commitment to sustainability. Michael’s achievements in advocacy and community building has established him as a leader in the field. Through his involvement with the Carbon Leadership Forum Toronto and Toronto Clean Energy Partnership, and his mentorship of young engineers at the University of Toronto, Michael’s passion for climate action and his dedication to the community has inspired many, especially those from under-represented groups, to pursue their goals and a career in green building.
