DIALOG is excited to announce that Glenora Park Retirement Residence welcomed its first tenants on Thursday, October 13.
Glenora Park Retirement Residence is a 23-storey high-rise tower and podium in the heart of Edmonton. Located in High Street, perched over the Groat Ravine and offering dramatic views to the River Valley parks as well as downtown, the project offers numerous amenities, services, and easy access to boutique shops entirely walkable to residents. Glenora Park allows residents to age-in-place through customized supportive options that cater to independent living, assisted living, and memory care markets.
The community is amenity rich with facilities provided in the building including a Library, Games Room, Bistro, Pub, Theatre, Golf Simulator, Health & Treatment Clinic, Pool & Fitness Room, Scooter Parking, and more.
In total, the project has 290 living units with 150 tower units allocated towards Seniors Apartments and 140 units for memory care, assisted living, and independent supported living. The elevated dining and amenity floor on the seventh floor is a defining element for Glenora Park as it includes the common eating area as well as a private dining room that can be reserved for events. The outdoor amenity space includes seating areas and landscaped zones where tenants can enjoy panoramic views of the city and river valley.
Glenora Park establishes itself as a unique urban node which blends the best of city living. Despite fronting on a major transit avenue that enables easy access to the rest of the city, the site provides an instant reprieve from the hustle and bustle of downtown through the park-like setting of Clifton Place, complemented with a new, accessible parkette nestled into the adjacent ravine. The location of the residence allows for residents and visitors to be immediately immersed in the charm and character that the Glenora neighbourhood is known for.
Congratulations to Revera and ONE Properties on this exciting milestone, and to the entire project team including Clark Builders, Arrow Engineering, Entuitive Engineering, IBI, Van Der King Design Group, Stantec, and Wallman Architects.
