Bahamas Goldwynn Resort & Residences designed by DIALOG embraces inclusivity and open spaces, transforming the resort into a residential haven where guests can immerse themselves in an unparalleled experience.
Nestled in the heart of Cable Beach, Bahamas, the intimate resort comprising 81 rooms is a blend of the golden era of travel with a vibrant spirit.
DIALOG partner and design lead Alison McNeil believes this project prioritizes guest experience in every way. “In this new era of hybrid lifestyle, the hospitality industry’s impact has been profound,” McNeil shares. “Goldwynn Resort & Residences is a prime example of how the hospitality industry can adapt to the changing needs of guests – creating a home away from home.”
Goldwynn provides an opportunity for individuals to own a piece of the paradise, with property residences and accompanying furniture available for purchase, catering to those seeking a more permanent connection to the destination. This gives guests not only an enjoyable, luxurious stay but also offers the flexibility to make the space their own.
Departing from the grand scale typical of Bahamas resorts, the design fosters a sense of home through open spaces and custom-designed furniture inspired by local motifs of Bahamian nature. An intentional blue color palette fills the resort, creating an atmosphere that reflects the beauty of the island. Every guest room is equipped with a kitchenette, private balconies, and views that extend either to the Bahamian ocean or the nearby golf course – with no commercialism in its surroundings.
One of the standout features is the open-air, mixed-use lobby, which provides guests with a space to relax, work, and play. This innovative approach extends the experiential stay and creates an atmosphere that feels like a true home away from home.
“We rooted our interior design approach in feeling calm, serene, and residential in approach – intending for longer stays and helping people truly feel at home,” McNeil shares. “Goldwynn is designed for people to take a break from their everyday life – it is designed for people to stay.”
