Magda Warshawski named one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40

November 5, 2020

Every year, EDify Magazine (previously known as Avenue Magazine) publishes their highly anticipated list of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40. Each cohort is a cross-section of the young movers and shakers around the city that are making Edmonton a more vibrant, livable, healthy, and generally awesome place to live and work. This year, we’re proud to share that our very own Magdalena Warshawski, a principal and healthcare architect from our Edmonton studio, is named Top 40 Under 40.

Magda stands out in our studio as a culture booster and passionate designer that leads her team and clients to do great work. She caught the eye of Top 40 Under 40 judges for her commitment to building a more inclusive city, and putting her heart into all of her healthcare projects, big and small.

At some point, you have to go to a hospital, where people are at their most vulnerable. We design around the efficiency needs of staff, and emotional needs of people at the most critical points in their lives.
Magdalena (Magda) Warshawski

What does it mean to you to be awarded the Top 40 Under 40 honours?

I am incredibly honored to be recognized for the impact my work has had on the city. Being a Top 40 to me represents a responsibility that as a leader, partner at DIALOG, woman, and mother, I can be a positive role model for women in our city to inspire them to find their potential and elevate their voices to make a significant mark on Edmonton, whatever their passion may be!

Why is the Top 40 Under 40 award program important for Edmonton?

The Top 40 under 40 program is important for Edmonton because the youth of our city need role models to show that whatever your dreams, you can be a trailblazer in making this city a better place, and it recognizes the importance of building future Edmonton!

Congratulations to Magda and all of this year’s honourees!
