COVID-19 is having a profound effect on the way all of us do business, especially in terms of face-to-face interactions. One area where it’s particularly notable is California, which has implemented a strict shelter-in-place policy to stop the spread of the virus. As you might expect, that’s thrown a wrench in the works for some businesses. It’s also created unique opportunities. 

The San Francisco chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a real estate development organization, asked a number of its members for observations and opportunities during the pandemic, including our own Mona Lovgreen. 

Mona is an architect and associate in our San Francisco studio, and an active member of the San Francisco development and real estate community.

She is currently the co-chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) 2020 Fall Conference Tours Committee, as well as the vice-chair of ULI’s San Fransisco Programs Committee. She is an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) and sits on the Urban Infrastructure Committee.
