Region of Durham – Paramedic Response Station

Rural response

Healthcare & Wellness

The Region of Durham Paramedic Response Station represents improved emergency services for the Townships of Brock, Scugog, Uxbridge, and surrounding areas. The building is organized into two distinct but integrated functions: administration program areas on one side and a drive-thru apparatus bay for six EMS vehicles on the other. An additional logistics storage area is located along the east façade, with interior and exterior access that can function independently from the vehicle bay. The internal administrative areas support the day-to-day activities for paramedics, and include service spaces that are accessed from the vehicle bay. The facility provides an efficient environment to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, and a safe and healthy workplace for employees.
