Established in 2010, the NAIT Technology Scholarships are awarded annually as part of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s (NAIT) Architectural Technology, Building Environmental Systems Technology, Interior Design Technology, and Landscape Architecture Technology programs.

The scholarships were founded in an effort to encourage students to take an active interest in their chosen area of expertise and to encourage the development of public speaking and presentation skills.

The value of each of the awards given is $2,000. The award funds will be distributed as determined by the jury and may be divided among contestants.

Who’s eligible

Second year students currently enrolled in one or more of the following NAIT courses:

• Architectural Technology
• Building Environmental Systems Technology
• Interior Design Technology
• Landscape Architecture Technology

Team participation is permitted.

How to apply

You do not need to apply for the NAIT Technology Scholarships. All eligible students will be considered.

How the recipient is selected

At the end of the school year, the scholarships are awarded to students who most successfully complete one of the designated courses and deliver a formal presentation juried by NAIT program instructors in partnership with representatives from DIALOG.
