How do you hope your work positively impacts our communities and environment?
I always wanted the streets to be my gallery – I view architecture as living art that engages its users’ senses with spaces that connect and inspire people on different levels. Much like moving through a gallery, I want people to be moved by emotional or thought-provoking elements with opportunities to learn and experience different perspectives, connecting them with the world and to each other.
What do you do to get out of a creative rut?
I enjoy going a few rounds with the boxing bag or some tai chi, and a good stretch.
What’s a quote you live by?
“Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.”
Knowledge is limited, whereas imagination is limitless embracing the entire world, stimulating progress, and giving birth to evolution. You are only ever limited by two things, money and imagination.
