The City of Calgary has declared a state of climate emergency. The Climate Imperative is a DIALOG initiative bringing design and city building professionals together to seek collaborative action. The public conversation series is part of this initiative. Discussions will take place in Calgary with a variety of climate topics affecting the building industry: Net-Zero Buildings, Energy Transition Strategies for Cities, and Energy Futures.

Moderated by David Gray, former host of CBC’s Eyeopener, their conversation will inspire a new way of designing and building our cities to achieve urban resilience. They will discuss the future of buildings from the development, design and operator perspectives.
