Matthew Horch | Principal Associate, Architect, Calgary
Since joining the practice in 2008 and becoming an Associate in 2014, Matthew has contributed to major projects at DIALOG, including the Winnipeg International Airport, YYC Airport International Facilities, Scotia Place, Telus Sky, and Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Specializing in the design of complex building envelopes, Matthew combines technical expertise with a collaborative leadership style to advance sustainable design initiatives for DIALOG.
A quality assurance and project management champion, Matthew plays an instrumental role in expanding our aviation practice. His leadership has strengthened DIALOG’s multidisciplinary teams and supported the successful delivery of projects that align with our commitment to community wellbeing and environmental restoration.
Matthew’s passion for design, natural systems, and technology led him to pursue a profession in architecture, with a focus on Advanced Building Envelopes. Outside of DIALOG, he volunteers with the Windmill Mentorship Program, helping new Canadians enter the architectural and engineering professions.
