We’re proud to share the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital has been awarded the 2022 International Building Award by the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE).
On Monday, September 19, 2022, the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE) and the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) presented the 2022 International Building Award to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the 27th IFHE Congress and 2022 CHES National Conference held in Toronto, Ontario.
Established by the IFHE, the International Building Award focuses on healthcare buildings which represent a contribution to the 2022 Congress framework theme “Unleashing Innovation: Healthcare Engineering Excellence.” This award recognizes the importance of design in healthcare facilities, focusing on the holistic experience of not only patients and residents, but also their families and visitors, and the staff that provide human-centered care.
