Stephen’s over 30 years of experience in design and consulting engineering has proven him a leader in the institutional, commercial, post-secondary, retail, and hospitality sectors. With strong technical knowledge, he has expertise in lighting, power distribution, project management, and contract administration. Stephen’s experience also encompasses projects for the federal and provincial governments, including hydro generating station refurbishments and coal and nuclear facilities. An excellent mentor and a role model, Stephen enjoys sharing knowledge and experience with the next generation. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Through his passion for lighting design, he has won several awards from the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA).
What’s your favourite DIALOG project?
Arthur Meighen Building Rehabilitation (AMBR). The project involved using an existing government building and completely re-engineering the systems and spaces to be a more energy efficient, carbon friendly, and a facility that will be used for another generation.
What’s your favourite DIALOG initiative?
DIALOG’s involvement with CAMH. Taking on the stigma of mental health and supporting the hospital speaks volumes for the company and its partners, and our standing in the community.
What’s your favourite way to give back to the community?
I have been involved in doing the Ride to Concur Cancer for the past 10 years, in support of something that has affected me and my family.
