ULI BC: The Hive Site Tour
The Hive at 2150 Keith Drive is a 10-storey mass timber office building currently in construction. Utilizing interior CLT shear walls and timber-braced frames at the perimeter of the building with Tectonus seismic dampers, the building is regarded as one of the most seismically advanced timber structures in the world. Located at the eastern gateway to the False Creek Flats neighbourhood and directly adjacent to the VCC Clark Skytrain Station, it is an example of sustainable transit-oriented development.
In this tour, Lindsay Duthie, Ryan McClanaghan, and David Roche, Vice President, Development, BentallGreenOak, will walk attendees through the in-construction building as the mass timber structure goes up and the building envelope is installed.
