Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, sθәqәlxenәm ts’exwts’áxwi7 Rainbow Park has been celebrated as a unique and highly innovative space by the community, setting a new direction for park design in the city. Justin McElroy, Municipal Affairs Reporter for CBC Vancouver, featured the park in his Vancouver Park Guide, describing the space as “an exemplar of landscape architecture done well,” ranking it #2 for parks in Downtown Vancouver, and #12 overall against 240+ parks in Greater Vancouver.

From the local coffee shop and green spaces, to the art installations and playground, the park is woven together with what McElroy describes as “walkways and multiple layers providing not only an interesting visual experience, but the ability to experience what is a fairly small parcel of land in different ways each time.”
