The Krembil Discovery Tower is home to the Krembil Research Institute, one of the world’s leading neurological research centres. To support the Institute’s model of collaborative and interdisciplinary research, DIALOG designed some 170,000 square feet of flexible and adaptable research facilities, including CL2 laboratories and specialized suites for imaging and microscopy. Strategically located lounge areas and café stations, including double-height corner atriums overlooking downtown Toronto, promote informal gatherings and conversations among researchers.

Stainless-steel fittings and equipment are robust, durable, and easily cleanable.
Open shelving above laboratory benching helps maintain clear and unobstructed work surfaces.
Finishes are specified for impermeability to chemical and biological agents and durability under sometimes-harsh cleaning protocols.
