Rob is a senior architect passionate about enriching the quality of life for his fellow Calgarians through the built environment. Over more than thirty years of practice, he has led some of DIALOG’s most complex, large-scale, and impactful projects for the community. His portfolio of award-winning designs spans many sectors, including healthcare, institutional and civic buildings. The Calgary New Central Library, named one of the World’s Greatest Places in 2019, demonstrates his leadership. Rob was also executive in charge of the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre and a member of the steering committee. As Principal in Charge of the YYC International Facilities, he guided the design process and consultant teams from start to finish.
Rob’s rich career has proven him to be a strong team builder, a skillful steward of projects and team culture, and an effective and direct communicator. A hands-on, active participant in all phases of project delivery, he is accessible and always available to our clients and design teams to see projects through to excellence.
Rob was a partner at DIALOG for over 20 years. He remains active and fully engaged with design teams and clients on various projects across our studios as Partner Emeritus.
